Charles Murray

Chief Operating Officer

Charles Murray joined the Zone team in March 2009 as the Chief Operating Officer. Charles has spent over 25 years in the Telecom Engineering profession. Prior to joining Zone Telecom, he worked for 20 years at Global Crossing. While there, he held various management positions, most recently Global Vice President for the Indirect Sales Organization. Charles successfully led a high performance sale and support team and oversaw sales of Global Crossing products and services. Past professional achievements include driving an over 10 million dollar annual revenue growth, successfully boosting the contribution margin over 20% in under one year, achieving multiple President Club Awards and departmental awards for Outstanding Engineering Support, facilitating Cisco and Juniper Certification of over 90% of the engineering team, winning the Outstanding Achievement Award, and providing 24/7 support to resolve customer issues after 9/11. With Charles’s breadth of knowledge in the telecom industry, he joins the current management team to help lead Zone Telecom into an era of rapid growth and improved customer relations.

Charles received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology with Honors and his Associate Degree in Telecommunications with Honors from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts.
