Dan Boynton, President and CEO, ZONE Telecom, Inc.

Dan Boynton joined the ZONE Telecom, Inc. team in June, 2002 with over 35 years in the telecom industry as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He was promoted to President and CEO in January, 2007. Dan’s past leadership roles have included Operating Manager of an independent telephone company, owner of an interconnect company, and member of the Senior Management team for Global Crossing.

At Global Crossing, Dan’s leadership was crucial in developing a national accounts program to move sales up market. Dan also served as senior manager overseeing sales, marketing, and operations for the New England and Midwest regions of the country. While at Global Crossing he also entrepreneurially worked with local politicians, U.S. politicians, and large companies to deploy a successful wireless network. This network provided lower cost voice and data connectivity for businesses and residential customers in the Berkshires of Massachusetts (Berkshire Connect), which received recognition from the FCC Chairman’s Office and Senior Senators from Washington. Since joining ZONE Telecom, Inc. Dan has grown the company significantly through organic and acquisition growth in both the Enterprise and ILEC sectors.
